Vacation

Hè hè, eindelijk is het zover: een weekje vakantie! Ook al voelt het helemaal niet als vakantie. Gelukkig heb ik heel veel leuke dingen gepland staan: aankomende maandag ga ik een vriendin ophalen van Schiphol, ze komt namelijk terug van drie maanden vrijwilligerswerk in Ghana. Vanavond gaan we hiervoor een spandoek maken. Dinsdag is Koninginnedag, ook een dag vol met leuke bezigheden door het hele land! Ik ben vooral benieuwd naar de kroning van Willem-Alexander, ook al zal ik mijn achternichtje hierin niet kunnen overtreffen. Ik citeer: "sssst, sssssst! Willempie is op de televisie!"

AS WHITE AS SNOW

As much as I love the fact that it's snowing again, I wish it was spring already.

WHITE, WHITE WONDERLAND

Last week I decided to go for a road trip and make some photographs of the white landscape. I actually thought it would thaw the next day, but it's still all white - and it'll probably stay white because there are more snowstorms to come, lucky us.
